Bob's experience in the trucking industry started in 1955. Having worked in most positions at the terminal level, he started to develop terminal performance systems ie; GRID and CARD systems for local P/D operations. A Terminal Control punched card system for freight/bill of lading security, providing automatic manifesting and tracing lists, and improved load averages. In 1964 he started a company called Better-Way, to do consulting work, and perform P/D analysis studies and implement the installation of the Terminal Control system at numerous trucking companies. During this time he also developed the Trailer Interchange billable day Slide ruler, the Driver-Rater P/D performance calculator and the T-Card Dispatch and Equipment control system. He later sold the company and rejoined the trucking industry and performed in various executive positions. Analysis Inc. was started in 1973, to provide a full range of consulting services to the transportation industry. Such services included projects in P/D, Dock operations, IT systems, Costing, Labor relations and M & A activity. To fill the need for transportation specific software, in 1979 we developed the Computer Assisted Transportation Operations Control System - Alamode TMS. Special emphasis was placed on providing training, documentation and continued support. While working closely at all levels, with our varied and numerous accounts, we again consistently saw a need to provide companies with an economical solution to evaluate Process Improvement opportunities, Profitability, Work Flow, Employee Behavior, and Customer Service. We believe, our strength lies in our ability to draw from a variety of specialized skills, in addition to practical experience, and places us in a unique position to perform. We are particularly proud of the fact that over the years much of our growth came from clients we have successfully served in the past. We interpret this as concrete evidence of our ability to provide practical, profitable and useful answers to difficult business problems.
